Nature of the Tool

Frequency is a rhetorical signal analysis tool. It measures patterns in communication structure, including word choice, framing, emphasis, and rhetorical technique. It does not measure factual truth, speaker intent, personal character, moral standing, or honesty.

All scores, labels, signal names, and summaries generated by Frequency, including but not limited to Power, Fear, Desire, Deception, Urgency, Trust, Contempt, Signal Frequency, Dominant Distortion, Contempt Wrap, Absence Signal, and Signal Summary, describe rhetorical patterns observed in text structure, not the beliefs, intentions, truthfulness, or character of any individual, organization, or entity who authored or delivered that text.

A high Deception score does not mean the author is lying. A high Contempt score does not mean the author holds contempt. A Dominant Distortion label does not mean the author is distorting facts. These labels identify structural patterns commonly associated with these rhetorical postures in communication research. The same text analyzed in different contexts may produce different scores, reflecting the context-dependent nature of rhetorical analysis.

Frequency is not a forensic tool, a lie detector, a legal instrument, a psychological assessment, a medical diagnostic, or a factual accuracy checker. It should not be used as evidence of deception, dishonesty, manipulation, or any other characterization of an individual’s intent or character.

No Professional Advice

Frequency does not provide legal, financial, medical, psychological, political, or any other form of professional advice. Analysis results should not be used as the basis for legal action, personnel decisions, clinical assessments, financial decisions, or any other consequential determination about individuals or organizations.

Analytical Output and Interpretation

Results are generated by artificial intelligence models and are probabilistic in nature. They may contain errors, inconsistencies, or artifacts of the underlying model. Scores are relative, not absolute. A score of 60 on one dimension does not carry a fixed or universal meaning. Results may vary between analyses of the same text due to the nature of AI inference.

Users are solely responsible for how they interpret, apply, share, or act upon any output generated by Frequency.

Refined Draft Output

The Signal Refiner (Analyze & Refine) feature generates rewritten versions of user-submitted text. These refined drafts are machine-generated derivative works based on user-provided input. Nuralyn LLC makes no claim of ownership over refined output and assumes no responsibility for how refined text is used. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to submit text for analysis and refinement, and for any use of the resulting output, including compliance with copyright, defamation, and other applicable laws.

Shared Results

The Share Signal feature allows users to generate shareable representations of analysis results. Shared results carry the same limitations described in this disclaimer. Any person viewing a shared result should understand that the scores and labels represent rhetorical pattern analysis, not factual claims about the author of the analyzed text.

Users who share analysis results of text authored by others do so at their own risk and are solely responsible for any consequences of that sharing, including but not limited to claims of defamation, false light, or reputational harm.

Data Processing

Text submitted to Frequency is processed using third-party artificial intelligence services. By using Frequency, you acknowledge that your submitted text is transmitted to external AI providers for analysis. Nuralyn LLC does not guarantee the confidentiality of submitted text beyond the protections described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit text containing sensitive personal information, trade secrets, privileged communications, or any content you are not authorized to share with third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

Frequency is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nuralyn LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the use of Frequency, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on analysis results, shared results, refined drafts, or any interpretation of output generated by the tool.

In no event shall the total liability of Nuralyn LLC exceed the amount paid by the user for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

By using Frequency, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nuralyn LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the tool, your sharing of analysis results, your use of refined drafts, or your violation of this disclaimer or any applicable law.

Changes to This Disclaimer

Nuralyn LLC reserves the right to update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of Frequency after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer.
